About Us

AR Scape originated from the collaboration between two different personalities, started in the context of U.P.C. (Polytechnic University of Catalunya), on the basis of a common interest in contemporary landscape as well as in the experimentation of new social equilibria and new forms of production, culture and identity.

After ten years of both free-lance experiences in architectural, landscape and editorial design and research in social housing and participatory design, thanks to open exchanges of ideas with international experts and colleagues met during their postgraduate studies, the architects have developed a new empirical and multidisciplinary working method, which has proved its effectiveness in the context of fruitful international collaborations with both private and public institutions.

what we do

AR Scape implements architectural and landscape projects with the aim to create new sceneries by reflecting upon and investigating into the relationship between the environment seen as an experienced space, and the quality of life.

We mainly focus on:

– Landscape, society and culture (collective memory, nature, intellectual and material production, etc.)

– Invisible landscapes and their representation

– Ordinary landscapes, their influence on social behaviours and our possibilities to produce changes within the social fabric

– Landscape design for increasing architectural accessibility and leisure democratisation

Architect and Landscape Designer (she first studied Architecture in Florence, then Landscape Design in Milan at ACMA, and later in Barcelona at the Fundació de la UPC).

With a nomadic and adaptive attitude—partly influenced by her hometown of Taranto—she combines her ongoing collaboration with Studio Milani in Siena with numerous work and research experiences in Italy and France, focusing on urban regeneration, everyday landscapes, and their transformations and hybridizations. Through these experiences, she has developed expertise in architectural and interior design, as well as in urban design and landscape planning.

Her interest in plant material, art, photography, and material painting naturally finds expression in the creation of ever-changing scenarios, both at the small and the large scale.
